Anugrah Madison is fifteen

R V RajanThe Chennai based rural communications specialist celebrated its fifteenth anniversary on 5th October 2001. The agency, which was formed in 1986, has an annual turnover of R 6 crores with key clients such as MRF, ACC Cement, Shriram Truck Finance, Castrol, Marico and SRF.

Says Mr. R.V.Rajan, CMD of the agency, “We feel great to have completed 15 years. We have done quite well in the context of an overall depression in the industry.”

He claims that Anugrah’s vision is to be the most sought-after agency that provides cost-effective solutions to client problems through a personalised professional service.”

“We would like to innovate and come up with new rural media opportunities. In fact, we are in the process of launching a series of melas in Tamil Nadu, which will provide a guaranteed rural audience to prospective clients ranging from consumer durables, FMCG and agri-inputs,” he adds.

He states that the agency’s main activities include market study, channel strategy, development and implementation of campaigns, direct marketing and database creation and management.

He also reveals plans to commence a rural research and event management division.
